Ability Space not only constructs portable sensory rooms, but we also specialise in fitting out existing rooms in schools and learning environments. Sensory Spaces are filled with sensory stimulation, visual, audio and touch. It becomes a space outside the classroom where participants can be in a safe environment, to alleviate frustration, violence, anxiety, for participants that have the need to jump, climb, spin, punch, or need calming. This can reduce damage on classroom furniture or injury to teachers, support workers and other students. The Sensory Space will be custom designed and fitted out with specific equipment to meet the needs of each individual participant.
