By providing a sensory-friendly environment, we empower students to fully engage in educational activities. Reduced stress and anxiety contribute to improved concentration and retention.
Our sensory wellbeing rooms are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for students. We excel in creating spaces that are comfortable and calming with the use of elements of nature, soft lighting, soothing colors, and ergonomic furniture creating a calming atmosphere, reducing sensory overload and promoting relaxation. Students feel secure and supported, allowing them to focus on learning.
Our school has provided for the sensory needs of its students with a Sensory Pod. This space has been intentionally developed to provide our students with the personalised sensory input they need to develop self-regulation skills and become more prepared for social and academic settings. The room looks amazing and although we are still building up the room with more, it has already assisted so many of our students to regulate.
